About

Jeff Rembert was born and raised in Houston, his father a city boy, his mother a farm girl.  He’s a fifth-generation Texan whose ancestry dates back to the Republic and perhaps even before when Mexico and Spain ruled. He’s also French Huguenot, Irish and Welsh with a touch of American Indian through his great-grandmother.  Today he is a Central Florida-based freelance writer and editor with a wife, two grown daughters, a granddaughter and two dogs.

Among his many hats are those of a real estate broker, commercial mortgage broker and a cowboy (bought during an Urban Cowboy phase).  Jeff also is a Producer of live stage performances and workshops, Associate Editor and Contributing Writer for FORWARD Florida business magazine and Co-Founder of Writers of Central Florida or Thereabouts, a literary group that encourages, prods and promotes writers of all types, genre and ability.  Oh yea, he attended Will Rogers Elementary School.  It’s named after a comedian.  Why isn’t anyone surprised?
